Monsters is a cute movie. I’ll pick it and let it run on commercial tv any time I see it going by. One day I saw it on Telemundo and thought nothing of it. I can handle some Spanish animation. Right?
Not so much. I quickly realized that I could not read the characters lips at all in Spanish.
I came to the conclusion that we tend to believe the animations that appear in our primary language. There’s a metaphor there somewhere about how to come to believe and hold on to our opinions.
I digress …
My take-away from this movie is this: more efficient and functional energy can be obtained by capturing laughter rather than causing fearful screaming.
